Find fall inspiration with our Stylist, Randi Lynne Collins.
Fall in Louisiana is one of my favorite things. It's one of many precious things that the south has to offer. There’s something undeniably special about autumn. The crisp feeling the fall air brings to the intense change in natures hues -- red, orange, yellow...so many warm tones to brighten up what darkens so quickly with the time change. Fall and early winter means cool air, cozy sweaters, crunchy leaves, and Christmas lights (usually put up before Halloween!) I love the fallen leaves that I lift in my hands. The cool musty smell of the damp Earth. I’m drawn by the intensity and depth that the upcoming season brings.
It’s this time of year when you’ll find me and all the girls at the shop wrapped up in fuzzy scarves, chunky, soft sweaters, and warm beanies -- usually with a cup of hot coffee in our hands. As wonderful as chunky sweaters and leggings are, we think it's time to ditch the oversized tees and UGGS! Pair your favorite sweater with a suede skirt and knee high socks with booties! It's the little things like over the knee socks with mules or booties or a statement hat that can make a simple outfit stand out from the crowd.
